A geographer has many roles to play and one such role is that of an amateur meteorologist. A meteorologist-cum-geographer needs to understand the earth’s atmospheric phenomena and/or how the atmosphere affect the earth and life on planet. As we started exploring the basic context of Weather, I have my budding inquirers designed their very own personalised weather stations.
As an educator I always try to use the ongoing pandemic home time for my student’s best. A time where they can move beyond screen and boost their creative thinking. And so we utilise our worthy time and materials easily available at home to come up with a weather station which definitely lit up the mood of my students.
