Saving Rainforest - Tour Brochure

Updated: Nov 23, 2021

Students study about places, people, or things that they do not know is by reading about them. But most of the time they don’t have time to read a whole book or they just take a quick overview of the subject. Businesses often use brochures to acquaint, educate, or persuade—quickly. They use brochures to grab the reader's attention and get them interested enough to want to know more. A travel brochure shows beautiful pictures of exotic places—making one want to visit that city or country. These types of brochures tell enough about a place or an organization to get one interested and make one want to know more.

I have asked my students to create a creative brochure promoting a rainforest as due to developmental activities, the rainforest is depleting and they are lungs of the planet for their role in absorbing carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, and producing oxygen, upon which all animals depend for survival. They also stabilize climate, house incredible amounts of plants and wildlife, and produce nourishing rainfall all around the planet.
