John Foster Dulles was an American diplomat. A Republican, he served as United States Secretary of State under President Dwight D. Eisenhower from 1953 to 1959. He was a significant figure in the early Cold War era, advocating an aggressive stance against communism throughout the world.


Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower, was an American army general who served as the 34th president of the United States from 1953 to 1961. During 2nd World War, he became a five-star general in the Army and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force in Europe.


IGCSE History class was presented with an opportunity to write a top-secret report from JF Dulles to the new United States President Eisenhower in 1952 advising as to 'What lessons the United States can learn from the Korean War'
