Unlocking the Mindset of the Big Three at Yalta

The Yalta Conference, also known as the Crimea Conference and code-named Argonaut and Magneto, held 4-11 February 1945, was the 2nd World War meeting of the heads of government of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union to discuss the postwar reorganization of Germany and Europe. Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill hammered out postwar matters like the creation of the United Nations, the fate of Eastern Europe and the 'dismemberment' of Germany.


To get a clear perspective of what 'The Big Three' had in mind and how would the Yalta Conference change the future of Europe, IGCSE History students came up with a mind map of what 'The Big Three Mindset.'
